My name is Sharon Miller and I am a visual designer and front-end developer living in Longmont, Colorado.
My first love is artful design which is what I have been able to do successfully for over 25 years. For the past 15 years, my focus has been on creating things for the web. My focus has been on 3 areas Multi-media, Web Development, and Graphic Design. As a Multi-media Designer I create graphics, illustrations, videos and animations for the web. When I need to put on my Web Developer hat, I code websites using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/JQuery, php, and WordPress. For Brand and Identity, I am able to draw on my early years as a Graphic Designer. I use Adobe Master Suite as my main set of applications when creating designs, illustrations and animations. My favorite design tool is still Illustrator, but I love to work in Photoshop and After-effects.
I got my AA in Art from American River College, California, and working on my BS degree in Information Technology with an emphasis in Visual Communication and Multimedia at University of Phoenix. My hobbies include gaming, cooking excellent food and creating beautiful things.
My aim for any project is to create beautiful designs that are user friendly and function properly.
My philosophy about website development is to always keep in mind that the goal of any website is to be a virtual representation of who you are that will "speak" to your customers. I feel that it is vital to create an online presence that will help customers know, like and trust you. Together, we will accomplish that goal by creating a website that will be informative, look and act professionally, and possess the creativity to help your customers understand your point of view.
I will create your website with development strategies that are proven to grab your audience such as mobile support, social media integration, intuitive navigation, logical user interactions and unique interface design. All you need to provide is the written content and I can do the rest.

We will create an outline for your website together or you can create the outline on your own. The outline will describe the main pages and subpages that your website will contain. It will also describe the navigation and any images or animations that would enhance your website. You will decide the information that will be contained on each of these pages and will provide that written content. I will provide a worksheet so that you can understand all of the materials needed for me to get started on your project. We can decide during this stage what graphics/photos will be needed and who will provide them. If you require stock photos, I can obtain them for you from istock.com and add the cost to the overall project fee.
I will provide you with design mock-ups that will showcase the design concept for your website based on the discussions we had during the planning stage. The concept will showcase the basic navigation and design scheme that will remain the same across all of the pages of your website.
I will provide one page of the website to be used as a proof for your approval. The page will be loaded in the customer area of my website so that you are able to see how the design looks in the browser. The Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) template and the navigation are created. Once the template is approved, text and images are placed on the pages. We offer two rounds of revisions for client requested changes so that you can make edits and corrections after you’ve seen your developed website. We will thoroughly test the site after it has been completely assembled and revised. The final version of the website will be loaded to our server and you will have an opportunity to approve the final version of the website.
We launch your new website. I will upload the files to your server and test the website for any problems. Once the website is available to the public, I will submit your website to the major search engines.
